How does a tea become a top-tier pick?
A tea recommendation must score at least 80 out of 100 and at least 3 out of 5 for style identity, origin transparency, harvest or freshness information, cultivar or processing detail, producer and seller confidence, and value for the documented quality. Editors compare at least three credible alternatives and attach at least two verification sources, including the Amazon product page and an independent producer, brand, geographic-standard, or identity source. Popularity and review volume can break a close tie; they cannot compensate for weak identity or sourcing.
A recommendation automatically leaves publication after its recheck date until its listing, seller, labeling, and availability are reviewed again. Certifications are recorded when relevant but are not treated as automatic proof of flavor or quality.
What is our link standard?
