For a regional tea, origin can mean where the leaves are grown and the style is made. For scented teas, blends, and herbal infusions, it may instead describe a blending tradition, documented native range, or several modern producing areas. Every origin page states which meaning applies.

Are the map counts production rankings?

No. Counts show how many Tealefy profiles connect to an origin group. They do not estimate acreage, export volume, consumption, popularity, or the total number of teas made there.
